Polyester-cotton yarn is produced by blending polyester and cotton fibers in specific proportions. Its manufacturing process needs to take into account the distinct processing characteristics of the two fibers. Through precise control of process parameters, uniform fiber integration and yarn quality optimization are achieved. The overall core production process consists of five key stages:
(1) Raw material preparation;
（2）Fiber separation processing;
(3) Blending and drawing；
(4) Drafting and twisting;
(5) Finished product finishing.
The breaking strength of polyester-cotton yarn is over 40% higher than that of pure cotton yarn of the same specification, and its wear resistance is doubled. It is suitable for various industrial fabrics, and can be used to produce filter screens, adhesive tape base fabrics, conveyor belt fabrics, etc. With excellent resistance to friction and tension, it meets the strength requirements of industrial applications.
The polyester-cotton yarn that complies with hygiene standards, relying on its outstanding chemical stability, withstands frequent sterilization and resists wear and tear. It is applicable for manufacturing medical supplies such as surgical gowns, dressings and bandages, thus ensuring medical safety.
In addition, it can be made into sewing thread, which is compatible with high-speed sewing processes of 3000-4000r/min. It delivers neat and straight stitches, and is widely used in garment processing and product sewing.
